Groups of higher education institutions (HEI) will be able to organize a short physical mobility under Academia- Industry training program- cum-academic exposure in the European Union (EU27) for learning, teaching, and training for students, and teaching faculty members.

Maria Lehmann

The program combines teaching, and short-term mobility to Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Spain, and France, among other selected countries from the EU-27 universities and Industries combining with compulsory integrated classes and industrial training abroad.

Builds capacity for developing and implementing innovative teaching and learning practices in the participating HEIs and Industries in the EU. It has added value compared to existing courses or training offered by the participating higher education institutions.

It is dedicated to all types of students from all study fields and cycles registered in an HEI and enrolled in studies leading to a recognized degree or diploma programs (Bachelor, Master, and PhDs).

What is AIEEU?

Groups of higher education institutions will have the opportunity to organize a short Academia-Industry Experience in the European Union - AIEEU of learning, teaching, and training for students and staff (AIEP). During these AIEEU programs, groups of students or staff will undertake short-term physical mobility to Poland including other destinations at the EU's universities and Industries combined with compulsory intercultural classes and industrial training abroad.

In addition, AIEEU gives students a chance to experience another culture, knowledge of different education systems, teaching & training methods, industrial training, and practices, reliability of legal systems (Civil and Common Laws), local arrangements and transportation systems in Poland and other European Union Member states. Students visit partner universities and attend common lectures/classes/seminars with local students in Poland, Germany, and other EU universities, where they gain integrated knowledge experience with culturally diversified groups. They are also visiting the industries and learning from their experts about products, market and marketing strategies, supply-demand equations, and execution plans for specific markets with local needs. The program itself lets participants understand the needs of the Indian market with a comparative analysis of the European market. It leads the participants to understand the quality of education offered by the European Union Universities, applicable to the global means in the competitive world and lets them identify themselves not only as a tourist in Poland or inside the European Union but as learners and executors to create their profile for future endeavors. The program is designed as an effective tool for those who want to pursue international careers with MNCs (multinational Corporations in India, Poland, Germany, EU, or any other part of the World) or, to join higher educational Institutions abroad for further studies.

Academia-Industry Experience in the European Union - AIEEU, program is open to students and staff from higher education institutions from India, Nepal, and all EU and non-EU countries. AIEEU, programmes build capacity for developing and implementing innovative teaching and learning practices in the participating HEIs.

Objectives of the Program

By completion of this program, you will gain valuable capital in the contemporary labor market: you will gain practical skills in analyzing international issues, you will have the possibility of personal development in a multicultural environment, and you will experience academia-industry exposure in the European Union.

  • MNCs working from India to EU countries;
  • MNCs from the European countries working in India;
  • Companies where you’ve completed your training during your AIEEU project;
  • International governmental organizations (institutions of the European Union, NATO, UN, ICC, ICJ, and many others);
  • Non-governmental organizations working in the international environment;
  • Public administration;
  • The start-up sector trying its hand at the international market;
  • Open possibilities for new opportunities with innovative ideas

Program Dedicated to Law Students and Law Colleges/ Universities

The program addresses the needs of all the law students studying at Indian Law Schools/Colleges or Universities, where students and faculties are going to get analytical tools to compare the Common Law Legal System with the Civil Law Legal System. Most of the EU member states are practicing a Civil Law Legal System including Poland and Germany. Not only will all the participants get exposure to academia and industry practices but also they’ll be visiting the dreamiest place of a law student/lawyer to Huge, Netherlands “The Peace Palace” at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and ICC. They’ll be able to visit and experience a live session of the Court procedure “Cross-examination”.

Eligibility Of Participating Organizations

An Academia-Industry Experience in the European Union - AIEEU, the programme has to be developed and implemented by any Indian university (Non-EU partner Country) with two European Organisations, among them one coordinating organization (Indo-European Education Foundation - IEEF), and two from EU countries either from Poland, Germany or any other EU member states. In addition, any other HEI or organization located in a Programme Country may participate with the interest of participating groups or institutions.

The organizer (IEEF) decides which HEI will act as receiving in Poland and other European Union member states, and which is sending HEI from India and other non-EU countries.

Venue(s) of the activity

All participating/sending HEIs are allowed to participate at their costs.

The physical activity can take place at the receiving HEI in Poland or at any other venue in the country of the receiving HEI at other EU member states (including Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, etc).

Duration of the activity(Physical mobility) :15 days No eligibility criteria is set for the duration of physical mobility but the combined academia and Industrial training participation must award a minimum of 4 ECTS credits for successful participating students.

Certificates

All participants are going to receive a common certificate issued by 3 organizations: Indo-European Education Foundation - IEEF (as a host and organizer of the program) University of Applied Sciences in Nysa, Poland (as host partner University in Poland); and Participating Partner University from the EU (Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, etc.) Individual certificates can be also offered by participating MNCs or Governmental organizations

Who can participate as a student?

Only students registered in an HEI and enrolled in studies leading to a recognized degree or another recognized tertiary level qualification (up to and including the level of doctorate). Students from the first semester of the first year and the students from the last semester of the last year study programs are not eligible for the AIEEU program.

Teaching and training staff involved in the delivery of the program: staff working at a HEI in receiving countries. And any other experts on the specific groups with prior confirmation from the receiving HEIs and Industries.

Eligible participants in numbers

The minimum number of participants in an Academia-Industry Experience in the European Union - AIEEU, program from a sending HEI is 05 (in one group, not including teaching/training staff involved in the delivery of the program and not including the students from the host university) for the program to be eligible for efficient execution. And maximum can be 25 students including one or two staff or faculty members.

For example: Minimum 05 students plus 01 staff from Indian participating Institutions. Maximum 25 students plus 01 to 02 staff from Indian participating Institutions.

Program Fee

Applicable Fee is flat rate based

The financing mechanism is: contribution per unit cost. One unit is one student. The flat rate is 3700/00 EUR per student as a participant, with minimum 05 participants and a maximum of 25 participants for maximum 15 day. The organisational support will be provided from the Indo-European Education Foundation, and all receiving partners in Poland and EU. It is back to back program: Mumbai/Delhi - Wroclaw/Warsaw - Mumbai/Delhi (all included)
